Alzheimer’s New Jersey’s Gala
I got the chance to cover Alzheimer’s New Jersey seventh annual Celebrating New Jersey Gala at The Grove in Cedar Grove. Alzheimer’s New Jersey works to improve the lives of those who have alzheimer’s and the lives of their families by providing continuous hope an support to each family.
I got to bear witness to the event’s fabulous food, silent auction, and spectacular musical entertainment. All of the proceeds raised from the Celebrating New Jersey Gala go directly to local programs that support families affected by this devastating disease and to research for a cure.
At the event, Tony Dearing of NJ.com was given the Circle of Honor award. Dearing received this award for his tireless work to spread information about alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The Corporation of the Year award was given to Educational Testing Services or ETS for outstanding corporate philanthropy and community dedication. In lieu of live speeches, #HipNJ and Long Shot Productions produced videos with the honorees (our clients love this timesaver!)
I was honored to be apart of an event that fights for such an amazing cause!
